Hyderabad : Charminar Police Crack Down on Milad Procession Rule-Breakers: Charminar Zone Police have identified 57 youths who flouted law and order norms during the recent Milad-un-Nabi procession — despite clear guidelines from religious leaders, the Central Milad Committee, and police.
Drone footage and CCTVs captured dangerous bike stunts, modified high-decibel silencers, unauthorized DJ setups and misbehavior with on-duty officers. DCP Kiran Khare IPS along with Charminar zone Addl DCP, ACPs and SHOs held a counseling session today with the identified youths delivering a firm message:
“Police stand with every citizen celebrating every festival — Hindu or Muslim — peacefully and within the law. Every person must therefore act responsibly. But no one gets a pass to break the law in the name of religious freedom.
” He appealed directly to parents: watch your children’s company, their social media, their habits — don’t let them drift toward drugs or ganja.
