Chhota Bheem Cafe Opens in Hyderabad, Blending Healthy Food with Fun for Families

Hyderabad: A new family dining destination inspired by the popular animated character Chhota Bheem has opened in Jubilee Hills, offering a unique mix of healthy food, entertainment and interactive experiences for children.

The concept has been developed to meet the growing demand from parents for dining experiences that combine nutrition, creativity and fun. The menu includes children’s favourites prepared with healthier ingredients, along with dishes inspired by the Chhota Bheem universe.

Customers can enjoy millet-based pizzas and burgers, nutritious snacks, themed desserts, signature beverages and the iconic Power Laddoos. The cafe also offers a wide range of menu options suitable for both children and adults.

One of the key attractions is the Junior Chef Quest, a supervised cooking programme that allows children to learn basic cooking skills while building creativity, teamwork and confidence. The initiative aims to encourage healthy eating habits and make cooking an enjoyable experience for young visitors.

The cafe also plans to launch a children’s membership programme featuring rewards, exclusive workshops, educational activities and special experiences to encourage repeat visits and promote healthy lifestyles.

The Jubilee Hills outlet is the first in a major expansion plan by Green Gold Animation and EBG Group. The companies plan to initially establish company-owned outlets before expanding through franchise partnerships.

They aim to open 25 Chhota Bheem Cafe outlets during the first year with an investment of Rs 50 crore, focusing on major Tier-1 cities across India. Depending on the success of the project, the companies plan to expand to 50 outlets over the next three years.

Future phases will introduce digital and interactive experiences, storytelling sessions, mascot meet-and-greets and themed events to strengthen family engagement.

The expansion is also expected to generate more than 500 direct and indirect jobs in operations, hospitality, kitchen services and franchise support. All outlets will operate under FSSAI food safety standards while following responsible waste management and sustainable operational practices.

The collaboration is expected to extend beyond Chhota Bheem in the future. Green Gold Animation plans to develop similar themed dining concepts based on other popular characters from its portfolio, creating new opportunities for its intellectual properties beyond television, films and merchandise.
