CJI gets angry at Telangana CS

He made these critical remarks while addressing a joint conference of the chief ministers and the Chief Justices of all the states of the country.

Hyderabad: The Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana today expressed his anger over the chief secretary of the state Somesh Kumar for not implementing the orders of the CM of the state and the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

He made these critical remarks while addressing a joint conference of the chief ministers and the Chief Justices of all the states of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they were not asking the CS to implement the orders for their personal use but for strengthening the judicial system of the state and the country.

Ramana said that the courts have deplorable conditions in the country. Responding to the comments of the CJI, state law minister A. Indrakaran Reddy said that they would look into the issues raised by the CJI.
