Revanth Reddy has directed Congress leaders to stop visiting Gandhi Bhavan and instead focus entirely on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Issuing a stern warning during a Zoom meeting on Sunday, the Chief Minister said leaders who fail to deliver results on the ground would not be considered for nominated corporation chairman posts. He also reminded party leaders that the deadline for submitting SIR applications is August 3.

Addressing Congress leaders, Revanth Reddy expressed displeasure over leaders neglecting field visits while spending time at the party headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan.
He made it clear that active participation in the SIR campaign in the districts is mandatory and warned that leaders who fail to produce results at the grassroots level would be disqualified from consideration for coveted nominated corporation chairman posts.
The Chief Minister urged party leaders to use the extension of the August 3 deadline as an opportunity to reach more people.

Senior Congress Leaders Attend Zoom Meeting
The Chief Minister participated in a Zoom meeting on Sunday to review the SIR campaign.

July 30 Review Meeting Planned for SIR Progress
Revanth Reddy instructed in-charge Ministers to supervise the SIR process in their respective areas.
He announced that a comprehensive review meeting on July 30 will assess the Assembly constituency-wise progress of the Special Intensive Revision.
The Chief Minister also warned that strict action would be taken against MPs who fail to perform their responsibilities in the constituencies where they have been appointed as in-charges.
He further directed MPs to conduct periodic reviews even while attending the ongoing Parliament sessions.
Congress Conducted 489 SIR Meetings Across 119 Constituencies
According to the Chief Minister, the Congress party has so far conducted:
- 489 meetings on SIR
- Across 119 Assembly constituencies
However, he said immediate attention is still required, particularly in the most backward constituencies.
Revanth Reddy Asks Leaders to Verify BLA Reports
The Chief Minister instructed MLAs, constituency in-charges and Chairpersons to carefully examine reports submitted by BLAs (Booth Level Agents) instead of relying only on reports submitted by BLOs (Booth Level Officers).
He warned that strict action would be taken if in-charges depended solely on BLO reports.
Revanth Reddy also stressed that the party should effectively utilise BLAs working on its behalf and said the presence of leaders at the grassroots level is mandatory.
Leaders Asked to Tour Assembly Constituencies
The Chief Minister directed all in-charges to visit their respective Assembly constituencies within the next 10 days.
He said the following leaders should undertake constituency tours:
- Ministers
- MLAs
- In-charges
- Corporation Chairpersons
- Party in-charges appointed for the SIR
He also instructed the Gandhi Bhavan team to continuously monitor both BLA and BLO reports.
Top 100 BLAs to Get Opportunity to Meet Rahul Gandhi
Revanth Reddy announced that the 100 best-performing BLAs would be given an opportunity to meet Rahul Gandhi and have a photograph taken with him.
