Hyderabad: Telangana government has issued notification on Wednesday fixing the maximum speed limit for various vehicles on different types of roads in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
As per the notification, 60 kmph is the speed limit for cars on roads with dividers. 50 kmph will be the speed limit on roads without dividers. 30 kmph will the maximum speed of the cars on the colony roads.
The maximum speed allowed for bikes, autos, buses, and other vehicles on roads with dividers is 50 kmph. It is 40 kmph on roads without dividers. The speed limit for these vehicles on colony roads is 30 kmph.
However, central government vehicles will be exempted from the rules.
