Hyderabad RPO to open 14 POPSKs on June 10 to meet increased demand

Starting from June 10, these POPSKs will process passport-related applications until further notice.

Hyderabad: In response to the growing demand for passport appointments, the Ministry of External Affairs has announced the opening of 14 Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) under the Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Hyderabad.

Starting from June 10, these POPSKs will process passport-related applications until further notice.

Previously, these POPSKs operated three Saturdays–May 20, May 27 and June 3. However, in a special arrangement, they will now function on the fourth consecutive Saturday, June 10.

As a result, 700 normal appointments will be made available on the Passport Seva website on June 7 (Wednesday) at 4:30 PM, according to a release issued on Tuesday.

Moving forward, Normal appointments for Saturday POPSKs will be released every Wednesday at 4:30 PM until further notice.

Applicants, whether registering for the first time or wishing to reschedule their appointments, can take advantage of this facility by visiting www.passportindia.gov.in/mPassportseva app and attending the respective POPSKs where their slots are booked.

It is important to note that prior appointment is mandatory, and walk-in requests will not be entertained at POPSKs.

All applicants are advised against engaging with middlemen, touts, or brokers for their passport-related requirements, and instead, utilize this special measure.
