Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao, the Working President of BRS party and IT Industries Minister, shared his perspectives on the Telangana State Assembly elections and concurrent polls in a media interaction at Pragati Bhavan. He suggested that the Telangana Assembly elections might not occur in October.
He proposed the possibility of the elections taking place roughly six months later, potentially in April or May, with the official notification not expected in October. He indicated that there would be greater clarity on the election dates following the special session of Parliament.
Furthermore, he asserted that the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would benefit irrespective of the timing of the elections.
While the scheduled date for the Telangana state assembly elections is in December, the recent statements from the Telangana minister have sparked speculation about a potential delay.
