MANUU organizes ‘Azad Walk’
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan flagged off the Walk from Open Air Theatre at 3.00 pm. He described the 9 day celebrations as a befitting tribute to the legendary personality of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has organized ‘Azad Walk’ at the campus today as part of the ongoing Azad Day Celebrations in run up to National Education Day on 11th November.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan flagged off the Walk from Open Air Theatre at 3.00 pm. He described the 9 day celebrations as a befitting tribute to the legendary personality of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He is a guiding light in every sphere of life.
Let us take Maulana as great educationist, mentor, a scholar and a leading freedom fighter, he advised the students. Large number of Students, teachers and employees participated in the Walk which ended at Main Gate of MANUU Campus.
Prof. S M Rahmatullah, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Siddiqui Mohammad Mahmood, Registrar I/c were also present. Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Coordinator, Azad Walk spoke about the importance of the event.
