MBT Unveils Amjed Ullah Khan as Yakutpura Candidate, Gears Up for Electoral Battle
The Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has officially declared Amjed Ullah Khan (Khaled) as its candidate for the Yakutpura assembly constituency.
Hyderabad: In a significant development ahead of the forthcoming elections, the Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has officially declared Amjed Ullah Khan (Khaled) as its candidate for the Yakutpura assembly constituency.
The seasoned party spokesperson will be facing off against AIMIM candidate Jaffar Hussain Meraj in what promises to be a closely watched electoral contest.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Majeed Ullah Khan aka Farhat Khan, President of MBT. Amjed Ullah Khan Khaled, a prominent figure within the party, has been carefully chosen to represent MBT’s aspirations in Yakutpura.
The nomination process is set to kick off on November 10, 2023, at 11:30 AM, as Amjed Ullah Khan will file his nomination papers at the Returning Officer’s office on Champapet Road, Yakutpura.
The MBT’s election committee, in its proactive approach, had already disclosed candidates for other key constituencies earlier in the week. The lineup includes:
- Nizamabad Urban – Zaheeruddin Jaweed
- Armoor – M.A. Majeed
- Karwan – Mohd Layeeq
- Bahadurpura – Sikandarullah Khan
Adding a personal touch to the electoral journey, Amjed Ullah Khan sought the blessings of Zahed Ali Khan, Editor the Siasat Urdu Daily. The meeting with Zahed Ali Khan underscored the significance of garnering support and blessings from influential figures within the community.
