Speaking to the media, he said:
“A detailed meeting was earlier conducted with Anganwadi teachers in the Nampally constituency. We discussed all the difficulties they are facing and represented their issues to the Collector. We also submitted a request for additional Anganwadi centres in Nampally.
During the last meeting, our sisters, the Anganwadi teachers, requested sewing machines so that they can benefit and also support poor children while teaching. We promised to provide sewing machines, and today we have fulfilled that promise by distributing sewing machines to all Anganwadi teachers from Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen, Nampally.
We will continue to provide whatever support possible. We have also updated them about the schemes being implemented by Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen in the Nampally constituency and requested them to spread awareness among poor people so that these schemes reach every household.
These sewing machines have been provided entirely by Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen. This was based on a request made during a meeting, and we fulfilled our promise. I am confident that our Anganwadi teacher sisters will support us in spreading awareness about schemes for the benefit of poor people in Nampally.”
