NEET UG 2026 Reschedule Likely in June
According to NTA officials, the revised dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 will be announced shortly.
Officials stated that the rescheduled examination is likely to be conducted in June.
The agency is reportedly preparing the schedule while taking into account:
- Academic calendar
- Other major examinations
Officials recalled that the NEET UG examination was cancelled in 2024 and the re-examination was conducted on June 23.
Fresh Registration Not Required for NEET Candidates
NTA Director General officials clarified that candidates will not have to register again for the NEET UG 2026 examination.
According to officials:
- Application details submitted in May 2026 will remain valid
- Examination fees already paid will remain valid
- Selected examination centres will remain unchanged
However, fresh admit cards will be issued for all candidates.

CBI Intensifies Probe Into NEET UG Paper Leak Case
The investigation into the NEET UG paper leak case has intensified.
The CBI detained five accused in connection with the case. The accused were identified as:
- Shubham Khairnar from Nashik
- Mangilal from Jaipur
- Dinesh Biwal from Jaipur
- Vikas Biwal from Jaipur
- Yash Yadav from Gurugram
Accused Produced Before Delhi Court
The detained accused were produced before the Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday.
Officials indicated that more arrests are likely in the ongoing investigation.
Allegation of Collecting Rs 3 Lakh to Rs 5 Lakh
According to reports, the accused allegedly collected between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh from students in exchange for leaked NEET question papers.
