In a post shared on his social media platform X, the Telangana Chief Minister accused the BJP and BRS of failures, betrayal and organised corruption, while demanding strict action against those involved in the NEET 2026 paper leak controversy.

Revanth Reddy Reacts to NEET 2026 Cancellation
The Telangana Chief Minister said the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination caused enormous distress and uncertainty among lakhs of students and parents across India.
According to the statement shared on X, nearly 22.79 lakh students appeared for the examination conducted on May 3, 2026 across:
- 551 cities in India
- 14 cities abroad
Revanth Reddy said these students are now facing renewed anxiety because of paper leaks and serious irregularities in the examination process.
CM Targets BJP and BRS Over Exam Leaks
In his statement, Revanth Reddy said:
“Paper leaks ‘demonetised’ students’ future.”
He further alleged:
“BJP, BRS similarities in failures, betrayal, organised corruption glaring.”
The Chief Minister stressed that the credibility of national examinations must be protected at all costs.
Revanth Reddy Demands Strict Punishment
The Telangana Chief Minister stated that any individuals or networks involved in paper leaks or corruption must face the strictest punishment irrespective of their influence or position.
He urged the Union Government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct:
- A transparent investigation
- A time-bound probe
- A credible inquiry into the irregularities
He also requested authorities to ensure innocent students are not repeatedly made to suffer because of systemic failures.

Revanth Reddy said the Government of Telangana stands firmly with students and parents affected by the NEET crisis.
He noted that students prepare for NEET with:
