Owaisi’s morphed photo doing rounds on social media: Cyberabad police files case


Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police in Hyderabad have filed a case regarding the tampering of a photograph featuring All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen and Member of Parliament Hyderabad Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, which was subsequently circulated on social media.

According to sources, the image depicted Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi and Imtiyaz Jaleel, MP Majlis Aurangabad, engaged in conversation. The original photo showed them conversing with another individual, but in the manipulated version, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image was substituted in place of that person.

A Majlis worker named Muhammad Irfan Khan reported this incident to the cybercrime police. The police have initiated proceedings under Section 469 (6) 505 in this matter.
