Hyderabad Traffic Diversions: Saidabad–Yadagiri Theatre Road Closed till July 21 for Elevated Corridor Work

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions till July 21 due to the construction of the Comprehensive Development Elevated Corridor from Saidabad Junction to Yadagiri Theater on the right-hand side (RHS). One side of the road between Saidabad Y Junction and Yadagiri Theater will remain closed during the construction period. Commuters have been advised to avoid the stretch from Nalgonda X Road to Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction) as heavy traffic congestion is expected.

Saidabad–Yadagiri Theatre Road Closure Till July 21

The Hyderabad Traffic Police said the road stretch between Saidabad Y Junction and Yadagiri Theater on one side will remain closed for the construction of the Comprehensive Development Elevated Corridor.

The public has been advised to avoid the route from Nalgonda X Road to Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction) due to the likelihood of congestion on nearby roads and junctions.

Traffic Diversion: Nalgonda X Road Towards Chandrayangutta

Stretch–1: Traffic comprising four-wheelers, RTC buses and heavy goods vehicles travelling from Nalgonda X Road towards Chandrayangutta will be diverted through the following route:

  • Saidabad Y Junction
  • Left turn at DCP East Zone Office
  • Saidabad Law & Order Police Station
  • Saraswathi Nagar Kaman
  • Sankeswar Bazar
  • Right turn at Indian Petrol Bunk
  • Singareni Colony
  • Left turn at Onus Robotic Hospital
  • Champapet Main Road
  • Left turn towards Laxma Reddy Garden
  • Right turn at Laxma Reddy Garden
  • Right turn at the DMRL Rotary

Stretch–2: Traffic comprising four-wheelers, RTC buses and heavy goods vehicles travelling from Chandrayangutta towards Nalgonda X Road will be diverted through:

  • DMRL (Right Turn)
  • Left turn at Laxma Reddy Garden
  • Champapet
  • Left turn towards I.S. Sadan
  • Right turn towards:
    • Singareni
    • Shankeshwar Bazar
    • 105 Bus Stop
    • Saidabad Law & Order Police Station
    • Saidabad Y Junction
    • Chanchalguda
    • Malakpet Fire Station

Special Arrangements for Two and Three-Wheelers

The Hyderabad Traffic Police said:

  • Two and three-wheelers travelling from Chanchalguda towards Saidabad Y Junction and intending to use the left-hand side (LHS) road will use a two-way road.
  • The right-hand side (RHS) road will remain temporarily closed.
  • Passengers have been advised to avoid the RHS road.
  • Two and three-wheelers travelling from Saidabad Y Junction towards DMRL should use the same designated lane.

RTC Buses and Heavy Vehicles Diversion

All district RTC buses and heavy vehicles travelling to and from MGBS and Chaderghat towards I.S. Sadan and Champapet will be diverted at Nalgonda X Road via:

  • Malakpet Gunj
  • Moosarambagh
  • Dilsukh Nagar
  • Kothapet
  • LB Nagar Chowrasta

Meanwhile, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and colony vehicles should use Yadagiri Theater Road and the available by-lanes to reach their destinations.
