Sharmila Arrested for Staging Hunger Strike on Farmer Suicides
Earlier, the police force was used to lift Sharmila forcefully who was on hunger strike for about three and half hours.
Medak/Hyderabad: The Police have arrested Y.S. Sharmila, President of the YSRTP for staging indefinite hunger strike demanding the state government headed by the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to pay the compensation to the farmers who has committed suicide for non procurement of their produce in the State of Telangana.
Earlier, the police force was used to lift Sharmila forcefully who was on hunger strike for about three and half hours.
The police arrested her and her supporters and before that the ruckus between the police and supporters of Sharmila went on for hours.
Speaking on this occasion, Sharmila has demanded compensation of Rs. one crore to the dependents of the farmers who has committed suicide. The Chief Minister has to apologize and tender his resignation.
