Vijayasanti Slams CM KCR Govt
Referring to the figures of the food security cards revealed by the state government on the floor of Assembly on Thursday, She said that the number of poor people had gone up in the state during the last seven-year rule of the TRS party.
Hyderabad: BJP leader Vijayasanti has come down heavily on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao led state government.
Taking to her social media accounts, she referred to the past claims of CM KCR that Telangana was a rich state and asked the CM as to why the number of poor people was going up in Telangana if it was a rich State. She made it clear that there was the relation between the claims of the Finance Department of the State that Telangana was in the fifth position in the entire country in the GSDP rankings and the food security cards issued by the civil supplies department of the state.
Referring to the figures of the food security cards revealed by the state government on the floor of Assembly on Thursday, She said that the number of poor people had gone up in the state during the last seven-year rule of the TRS party.
She, while referring to the figures of the civil supplies department of the state, said that the state had added 21.30 lakh poor people to its list of the poor people with a percentage of 71 percent during the last seven years. She said that it was shameful that the CM had given a speech in the assembly claiming that Telangana was a rich state.
She also said that the burden of debt on the state had gone up from ₹70,000 to ₹4 lakh crores during the TRS party‘s rule and added that there was a burden of ₹1.5 lakh crore Debt on the heads of every resident of the state.
