Hyderabad Police Conduct Night Drive in Rein Bazaar, Warn Against Late-Night Activities in Qabristan

Hyderabad City Police conduct night drive in Rein Bazaar under Mission Chabutra after complaints of ganja use in qabristan; strict action warned against late-night activities.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police carried out a special night drive under “Mission Chabutra” within the limits of Rein Bazaar Police Station to prevent crime and maintain public order.

According to police officials, the action was taken after receiving complaints from local residents that some individuals were consuming ganja (drugs) inside a qabristan during late-night hours, while others were roaming unnecessarily at night, causing concern among the public.

Night Inspection of Qabristan and Surrounding Areas

During the operation, police teams conducted a night-time inspection of the qabristan and nearby areas.

  • Inspection Time: Late-night hours
  • Location: Qabristan under Rein Bazaar Police Station limits
  • Observation: No individuals found inside the qabristan during the check

Despite not finding anyone during the inspection, police have issued a strict warning that such activities will not be tolerated.

Mission Chabutra: Police Warning and Future Action

Under Mission Chabutra, the Hyderabad City Police stated that regular night patrols and searches will continue.

Police warned that:

  • Strict action will be taken against those loitering late at night without reason
  • Individuals wasting time on chabutras (public sitting areas) may face action
  • Anyone found consuming drugs like ganja in public places will be dealt with firmly

Checking of Vehicles and Public Movement

As part of the drive, police also conducted checks on people moving on roads and auto-rickshaw drivers during late hours.

This step was aimed at:

  • Ensuring public safety
  • Preventing illegal activities at night
  • Monitoring suspicious movements

Public Advisory Issued by Hyderabad Police

The Hyderabad City Police appealed to citizens, especially parents and guardians, to ensure that children do not stay out late at night.

Police cautioned that:

  • Late-night hours can be risky due to presence of intoxicated individuals
  • Such persons may create disturbances or engage in fights

Citizens were also urged to:

  • Remain alert and cautious
  • Immediately report any suspicious activity or incident to the police
