Telangana government held a Joint Staff Council meeting and announced plans to launch digital health cards for employees on June 2.

A Joint Staff Council meeting related to Telangana state government employees was held on Friday at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, following the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The meeting discussed issues related to government employees and pensioners, including the PRC report, health cards, pending bill payments, transfers, service matters, and GO 317 transfers.

Joint Staff Council Meeting Held at Telangana Secretariat

The Joint Staff Council meeting for state government employees was conducted on Friday at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.

The meeting was held as per the directions of:

Leaders of various employee associations participated and raised several issues related to government employees and pensioners.

During the meeting, employee union leaders discussed several important issues, including:

  • Employee transfers
  • GO 317 transfers
  • Other employee-related issues

Officials reviewed the concerns raised by employee associations during the discussions.

Telangana Govt to Launch Digital Health Cards on June 2

The Chief Secretary instructed senior officials to take necessary steps to formally launch digital health cards on June 2, coinciding with Telangana State Formation Day celebrations.

Officials were also directed to resolve non-financial issues raised during the meeting as much as possible.

Regarding the PRC report, officials stated that efforts are being made to obtain it at the earliest possible time and that the commission is also working seriously in that direction.

District-Level Joint Staff Council Meetings Planned

The Chief Secretary directed officials to take steps to organize Joint Staff Council meetings at:

  • District level
  • Directorate level

He also advised employee association leaders to work according to public expectations and utilize modern technology to help resolve public issues effectively.

  • Finance Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania

  • TNGO President Maram Jagadeeshwar
  • TGO President Eluri Srinivasa Rao
  • Leaders of various employee associations
