The recovered phones were handed over to the owners on 03.06.2026 during a press meet held at Tolichowki Police Station under the supervision of senior police officials.

26 Mobile Phones Recovered Through CEIR Portal
According to the press note issued during the press meet held on 03.06.2026, Tolichowki Police successfully recovered and returned 26 lost/stolen mobile phones worth approximately Rs 5,00,000 to their owners through the CEIR Portal.
The recovery operation was carried out at PS Tolichowki, Hyderabad, under the supervision of:
- Sri Syed Fiaz, ACP, Tolichowki Division
- Sri L. Ramesh Naik, Inspector
- Sri G. Balraj, Additional Inspector
- Sri S. Ravi Kumar, DSI
- Crime Team personnel
The police traced the mobile phones using technical investigation through the CEIR system.
ACP Advises Public to Report Lost and Stolen Phones
During the press meet, ACP Sri Syed Fiaz advised the public to promptly report lost or stolen mobile phones through the CEIR Portal as well as at police stations.
The owners who received their devices expressed gratitude to the police for recovering and returning their mobile phones.
Mobile Phones Traced Across Multiple States
The ACP of Tolichowki Division explained the investigation process and highlighted the role of the CEIR Portal in tracing lost mobile phones.
The recovered phones were traced from different locations across the following states:
- Bihar
- Rajasthan
- Uttar Pradesh
- Tamil Nadu
- Chhattisgarh
- Chennai
- Karnataka
- Andhra Pradesh
- Maharashtra
Police said the devices were located through technical investigation and tracking using the CEIR Portal.
Phones Handed Over After Legal Formalities
After completing all legal formalities, the recovered mobile phones were handed over to their rightful owners.
The owners identified their respective devices and expressed their gratitude to Tolichowki Police for the prompt action and successful recovery.
The press meet was conducted by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tolichowki Division, Golconda Zone, Hyderabad.
