Police said that last year, while consuming ganja, A2 was apprehended by Ajni Police and was sent to jail for one month.

About two months ago, A2 met Sanju Sahu (A1) in Balangir, Odisha. During the meeting, A1 allegedly offered Rs. 5,000 per trip to transport ganja.

A2 later informed A3, who agreed to participate. Around the same time, both transported ganja to Nagpur. After learning about the operation, the 17-year-old CCL boy also joined them.

Ganja Loaded at Balangir Railway Station

On July 3, 2026, A2, A3 and the CCL boy met Sanju Sahu at Balangir Railway Station.
