‘We’ll Change This Government’: Abhijeet Dipke Issues Strong Warning Over Student Protest Crackdown

New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Centre over its handling of the ongoing student protests linked to the alleged NEET paper leak, warning that the youth would intensify their agitation if their demands continued to be ignored.

Addressing the media, Dipke claimed that public anger among students had not subsided and cautioned that the movement could grow much larger in the coming days.

“The anger of students has not diminished. If necessary, we will launch an even bigger movement,” he said.

Drawing a comparison with the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Dipke asserted that the youth had already demonstrated their strength and warned that the government could face a similar challenge.

“Just as Dharmendra Pradhan was removed, we will change this government if it does not listen to the youth,” he said.

Taking a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dipke remarked that the Prime Minister was making “good videos” and sarcastically suggested that he could become an influencer after leaving office.

“Narendra Modi is making very good videos. He can quit the Prime Minister’s post and become an influencer,” he said.

Dipke also alleged that police personnel were visiting the homes of students who participated in the protests and threatening them with arrest.

“Police are going to the homes of students who joined the protests and warning them that they will be arrested,” he alleged.

Questioning the government’s approach, he asked whether students were being treated like terrorists.

“Are students terrorists? Students are the future of this country,” he said.

He demanded that the government immediately stop what he described as harassment of protesting students and take action against those responsible for permitting the use of pellet guns against demonstrators.

“The government must stop harassing students. Action should be taken against the person who authorised the use of pellet guns on students,” Dipke said.

Warning of political consequences, the CJP founder said that if the government failed to change its approach, the country’s youth would respond democratically.

“If the government does not mend its ways, the youth will change the government,” he asserted.

Dipke’s remarks come amid continuing protests over the alleged NEET paper leak, with student groups demanding accountability, action against those responsible, and an end to alleged police action against demonstrators.
