Major Fire Breaks Out at BRK News Building in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills

According to preliminary information, the fire reportedly originated in the stock storage area of Daru Wala Wine Mart, located in the building’s cellar. Large quantities of liquor stored in the premises are believed to have intensified the blaze, sending thick smoke and flames through the area.

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in the cellar of the BRK News building on Road No. 11 in Banjara Hills on Saturday, triggering panic in the area.

According to preliminary information, the fire reportedly originated in the stock storage area of Daru Wala Wine Mart, located in the building’s cellar. Large quantities of liquor stored in the premises are believed to have intensified the blaze, sending thick smoke and flames through the area.

Firefighters rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. A firefighting team launched a rescue operation and safely evacuated 11 people from the building.

The flames were brought under control using four fire engines deployed at the scene. Fire personnel continued operations to ensure that the fire was completely extinguished and that there was no further danger.

The exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are yet to be ascertained. Police and fire officials are expected to investigate the circumstances that led to the incident.
