15-Year-Old Student Dies by Suicide After Allegedly Being Humiliated Over Unpaid College Fees

Kakinada: A 15-year-old Intermediate first-year student allegedly died by suicide at his home after reportedly being humiliated by college staff over unpaid fees in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, the student, identified as Aravind, was studying at Sri Chaitanya Junior College. College staff allegedly called him out in front of his classmates for failing to pay the required fees and sent him home.
The incident reportedly left Aravind deeply distressed. His family alleged that some people laughed at him during the incident, which further added to his humiliation.
Aravind reportedly took his own life at his residence on Friday night. His death left his parents and relatives devastated, with the family alleging that harassment by the college staff had driven him to take the extreme step.
