BJP Enraged Over not Getting BAC Meet Invite

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemned the undemocratic attitude of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not inviting party floor leader Raja Singh to the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemned the undemocratic attitude of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not inviting party floor leader Raja Singh to the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting held in the Assembly premises on Friday.

Soon after the adjournment of both the houses till Monday, the BAC meeting was held, where the government wanted the session be conducted till October five ,while the Congress suggested that the session should last for 20 days to discuss a host of public issues.

‘It is unfortunate that the Chief Minister is running the state like his family fiefdom’, BJP Telangana Chief Spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said in a statement here.

‘Telangana Assembly Sessions and BAC meetings are not his family events to selectively invite party floor leaders, without following assembly rules, tradition and best practices’, the BJP leader said.

Mr Rao is murdering democracy in broad daylight with these undemocratic antics, he alleged.
