BRS Leader Kavitha Faints During Telangana Campaign; Video Goes Viral

During a roadshow in Telangana’s Itikyal, Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K Kavitha fainted while addressing party workers from an open-top vehicle. The daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao suddenly turned and seemed to collapse.

Those with her inside the vehicle gathered around Kavitha on the floor. Her team stated that dehydration caused her slight illness, and the campaign resumed after a brief pause.

Later, Kavitha posted a video from a house, assuring she was well after meeting a girl. She apologized for the scare and announced the resumption of the #KCROnceAgain campaign.

Telangana’s Assembly elections are set for November 30, with vote counting on December 3. In the 2018 elections, BRS (formerly TRS) secured 88 of 119 seats, holding 47.4% of the total vote share, while Congress trailed with only 19 seats.
