Senior police officials, including Commissioner of Police Akhil Kumar and Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ravindra Kumar, along with officers from various police stations and a forensic team, responded promptly to the incident. The investigation has centered around the area near Munna Tiraha, within the jurisdiction of the Gujaini police station.
The woman’s identity remains unknown. Her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to gather crucial evidence. Multiple investigation teams are working to identify the victim and locate her missing head. The police are examining the circumstances surrounding this gruesome crime and are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
Deputy Commissioner of Police South, Ravindra Kumar, stated, “The woman appears to be around 35 years old. We are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area to determine the facts leading to her death. The forensic team is on-site collecting evidence. So far, no personal belongings, such as her phone, ID, or bag, have been recovered, only her slippers and broken teeth.”
Another police official noted that the absence of personal items at the scene suggests that the woman may have been murdered elsewhere and her body disposed of on the highway. “No blood was found at the scene, but there was pooled blood inside her neck, indicating she may have died several hours prior. Her arms and legs appear to be broken, possibly by-passing vehicles,” the official added.
The woman does not appear to be a local resident, as her family would have reported her missing if she were from the area. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are making every effort to solve this horrific case.
