Police said Ganesh, aged 40, died on the spot due to the impact of the crash.

Gangadhar, aged 45, sustained serious injuries and succumbed before he could be shifted to a hospital.

Both victims were residents of Moula Ali and worked as daily wage labourers.

Police suspect that over-speeding and possible drunk driving may have led to the accident.

Officials stated that the occupants of the car allegedly abandoned the vehicle at the accident scene and fled immediately after the crash.
