Hyderabad: Telangana High Court directs Chief Secretary to remove HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the Chief Secretary of Telangana to remove Ranganath from the post of HYDRA Commissioner while hearing a batch of cases related to the alleged non-compliance of court orders.

The court also instructed the state government to appoint a suitable alternative officer to head the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA).

According to the court’s observations, the directions were issued in the context of multiple cases concerning alleged defiance of court orders. The High Court expressed serious concern over the issue while passing the directions to the state government.

The Chief Secretary has been asked to take appropriate action in accordance with the court’s order and ensure that a new officer is appointed to the post.
