During the drive, a total of 478 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol. The police said there will be zero tolerance for drunk driving violations, and the special enforcement drive will continue.

478 Drivers Booked for Drunk Driving
According to a press note issued on July 12, 2026, the Hyderabad Traffic Police booked 478 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol during the special drive.
The offenders included:
- 398 two-wheeler riders
- 42 three-wheeler drivers
- 38 four-wheeler and other vehicle drivers
BAC Levels of Offenders
The Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels recorded during the drive were:
- 30–50: 97 cases
- 51–100: 197 cases
- 101–150: 92 cases
- 151–200: 54 cases
- 201–250: 20 cases
- 251–300: 4 cases
- Above 300: 14 cases
Hyderabad Traffic Police to Continue Special Drive
The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad, stated that there will be zero tolerance towards drunk driving violations.
The official said the special drive will continue as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police also requested commuters to cooperate with the enforcement teams during the campaign.
