HYDRAA Protects 9.05 Acres Government Land in Shamshabad Worth ₹90 Crore, Encroachments Removed

HYDRAA secures 9.05 acres government land in Shamshabad worth ₹90 crore by removing encroachments and fencing. Illegal layout by Tajammul Moinuddin Khan exposed.

Hyderabad: In a major land protection drive, HYDRAA has secured 9.05 acres of government land in Shamshabad, Rangareddy district, valued at over ₹90 crore, by removing illegal encroachments and installing fencing on Wednesday.

HYDRAA Action in Shamshabad Over Government Land

The operation took place in Shamshabad mandal under Survey No. 626/2, where according to revenue records, a total of 176.05 acres is classified as government land. Out of this:

  • 166 acres were officially allotted to the Forest Development Corporation
  • The remaining 9.05 acres continued as government land

Revenue officials confirmed that as per Khasra Pahani (old village records), the entire land falls under government ownership.

Dispute Over Land Ownership and High Court Stay

The 9.05-acre land became disputed after some individuals claimed it as CS 14 land (Nizam-era property). The matter is currently pending before the High Court, which has issued a status quo order, directing:

  • No changes to the nature of the land
  • No construction activities on the disputed site

Illegal Layout Development Despite Court Orders

Despite the High Court’s stay, complaints were received through Praja Vani against Tajammul Moinuddin Khan, alleging illegal development on the land.

Field-level inspection by revenue officials revealed:

  • The 9.05 acres was leveled and converted into a layout
  • Precast boundary walls were constructed to encroach the land
  • Some plots were reportedly sold

Notices Issued Under Land Encroachment Act

Authorities issued notices to the accused under the Land Encroachment Act, 1905, instructing removal of encroachments. However, the directives were reportedly ignored.

Following this, revenue and Shamshabad municipal officials formally requested HYDRAA to take action.

Encroachments Cleared, Fencing Installed

Acting on the complaint, HYDRAA officials launched an operation on Wednesday and:

  • Removed all illegal encroachments on the 9.05 acres
  • Installed complete fencing around the land
  • Placed official boards declaring it as government land

The entire operation was conducted in the presence of revenue and municipal authorities, ensuring transparency and legal compliance.

Government Land Secured in Shamshabad

With this action, HYDRAA has successfully protected government land in Shamshabad worth ₹90 crore, preventing further illegal occupation and safeguarding public assets.

The case remains under High Court review, and officials reiterated that no activity is permitted on the land until a final verdict is issued.
