Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy honoured the Hyderabad E-Champions, winners of the Season 1 TG-20 Cricket League, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to sports development through cash rewards, government jobs, and world-class infrastructure.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the state government is giving special priority to the development of the sports sector by encouraging athletes with cash rewards and government jobs. Speaking after meeting the Hyderabad E-Champions, winners of the recently concluded Season 1 TG-20 Cricket League, at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion, the Chief Minister congratulated the players and presented them with cheques.

CM Honours TG-20 Season 1 Champions
The Hyderabad E-Champions, who emerged as winners of the recently held Season 1 TG-20 Cricket League, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion.
The Chief Minister congratulated the team members on their victory and handed over cheques to the players in recognition of their achievement.
Telangana Giving Top Priority to Sports Development
The Chief Minister said the Telangana government has been encouraging sportspersons by providing cash rewards as well as government employment to those who excel in sports.
He said the government has introduced a special Sports Policy for Telangana with a focus on improving sports infrastructure across the state.

Sports University and Gachibowli Stadium Development
A. Revanth Reddy said the government has established a Sports University to promote sporting excellence.
He also stated that steps are being taken to develop the Gachibowli Stadium to international standards.
Recalling Hyderabad’s sporting legacy, the Chief Minister said the city had earlier hosted national-level sporting events.
TG-20 Providing Platform for Rural Talent
The Chief Minister said the TG-20 Cricket League is providing an excellent opportunity for sportspersons from rural areas to showcase their talent.
Congratulating all members of the Hyderabad E-Champions, he expressed hope that they would go on to become athletes who bring pride to the nation in the future.
