Telangana will go into darkness if Cong comes to power: BRS Working Prez KTR
Talking about people’s suffering in Nalgonda during Congress rule, KTR said that the parents despite being aware of water contamination, and rampant fluorosis issues were helpless as the congress Govt back then could not provide safe drinking water.
Hyderabad: The BRS Party working President KTRama Rao (KTR) addressed the gatherings during roadshows in Munugode, Kodad, and Mulkanoor on Wednesday.
Talking about people’s suffering in Nalgonda during Congress rule, KTR said that the parents despite being aware of water contamination, and rampant fluorosis issues were helpless as the congress Govt back then could not provide safe drinking water.
KTR reminded the people of those days when water and power were scarce during the Congress rule. He highlighted that CM KCR addressed the water and power scarcity by launching Mission Bhagiratha and other programs.
Responding to Congress leaders Revanth Reddy and Komareddy Venkatreddy’s statement on 24-hour current supply not being provided in the state, KTR stated that the former could hold any current wire across Telangana and check for himself if there was current being supplied or not.
KTR rubbished the statement of TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy who said a three-hour power supply was sufficient for the farmers in Telangana to irrigate an acre of land if they could run a 10hp pump set. KTR ridiculed the Congress leaders for their lack of knowledge on farming and asked people if they wanted current or Congress.
KTR stated that Telangana will live in darkness if Congress wins the election. He further added that there would be long queues for fertilizers and seeds, a three-hour current supply, a water crisis, and more suffering.
Highlighting the BRS party’s manifesto, KTR said – a monthly honorarium of ₹3,000 per eligible woman under Saubhagya Laxmi scheme, increase in Asara pension money to Rs. 5000, superfine rice supply to all ration card holders under Telangana Annapurna scheme, Life insurance cover of ₹5 lakhs to over 93 lakhs below poverty line (BPL) families on the lines of Rythu Bima being implemented to farmers, gas cylinder for Rs. 400.
Amidst cheers, KTR appealed to the crowds to vote for BRS and make KCR a hat-trick CM
