Hyderabad: Two people were killed and three others sustained serious injuries in a horrific three-car collision on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Sultanpur, under the limits of Ameenpur Police Station, on Saturday evening.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. near ORR Exit-4 when the driver of a speeding Toyota Fortuner reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to rain. The SUV crossed the road divider and rammed into two cars travelling in the opposite direction.
The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the deaths of two occupants at the scene, while three others suffered serious injuries.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital in ambulances for treatment. Their condition is reported to be critical.
