E-mobility arm KKL Group has launched its first electric vehicle dealership, Dandu’s Electric Vehicles, in Hyderabad, marking a key step in its expansion into the Telangana EV market.

Hyderabad: E-mobility arm KKL Group has launched its first electric vehicle dealership, Dandu’s Electric Vehicles, in Hyderabad, marking a key step in its expansion into the Telangana EV market.
The dealership was inaugurated by Dr. C.N. Gopinath Reddy, former DGP of composite Andhra Pradesh and Chairman of KKL Hitech EV India Pvt Ltd. The event was attended by Sri M. Sai Kumar, Chairman of the Fisheries Department, Government of Telangana, along with Mr. Adaikalam Shanmugam (MD, KKL) and Dr. Venkata K. Ganjam (Director).
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Reddy highlighted India’s shift toward clean mobility and said Telangana is emerging as a strong adopter of electric vehicle technologies. He noted that KKL’s entry into the state aligns with the government’s “Make in India” initiative and the growing demand for sustainable transport solutions.
KKL Managing Director Adaikalam Shanmugam said the company sees strong long-term growth potential in India’s EV two-wheeler market, adding that rising consumer demand and supportive policies are driving expansion opportunities.
KKL Group plans to rapidly expand its dealership network across Telangana, targeting around five new dealerships per month from FY 2026–27. The company aims to strengthen its presence in key cities including Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Khammam.
The company also announced plans for over 100 dealerships across South India, along with expansion into institutional and corporate sales channels. Its EV portfolio includes electric scooters, bikes, autos, loaders, mini cars, and buses certified by CIRT, ARAI, and ICAT.
KKL currently offers models such as Greta, Crest, Finch, Spartan, Green Rider, and Vesper, priced between ₹50,000 and ₹1.5 lakh. The vehicles feature lithium-ion battery technology and are positioned for both personal and commercial use.
In addition to dealership expansion, the company is exploring strategic partnerships, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, and charging infrastructure development across India.
