CM Revanth Reddy Urges Leaders to Keep Politics to Poll Season, Focus on Telangana’s Growth at Solar Plant Inauguration

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged leaders to keep politics to election season while inaugurating India's next-generation solar module manufacturing facility at Seetarampur in Rangareddy district. He reiterated Telangana's goal of becoming a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said politics should be confined to the election season and that leaders should focus on the development of Telangana. Speaking after inaugurating India’s next-generation solar module manufacturing facility at Seetarampur, Shabad, in Rangareddy district on Thursday, the Chief Minister said his government remains committed to economic growth, infrastructure development, sustainable urban planning, and transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Revanth Reddy Calls for Development Over Politics

Addressing the gathering, A. Revanth Reddy said it was not the time for politics and that political activities should be limited to elections.

“The Opposition leaders pained for losing the power. However, let us work for a while as the development takes place in the state.”

The Chief Minister said that despite facing numerous political allegations, the government is working with the objective of developing Telangana and contributing 10 per cent to the national economy.

Telangana Targets $3 Trillion Economy by 2047

Revanth Reddy reiterated that the State Government has resolved to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

He said the current inflow of investments is insufficient to compete globally and stressed the need to improve infrastructure to attract more investments.

“We must improve the infrastructure to attract more investments for a robust economic growth in the future. We are striving to transform Telangana into the number one state in the country,” he said.

Pollution-Free Development and New Growth Zones

Expressing concern over environmental challenges, the Chief Minister said Delhi has become increasingly polluted and difficult to live in, while Bengaluru and Chennai are facing severe traffic congestion.

He said the Telangana Government has already initiated several measures to ensure pollution-free development in Hyderabad.

As part of these initiatives, he said:

  • A 2,100 sq km area within the Outer Ring Road (CURE) has been designated exclusively for the service sector.
  • Telangana has been divided into:
    • CURE
    • PURE
    • RARE

These zones are intended to promote sustainable development.

Solar Manufacturing Facility Inaugurated

The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the inauguration of the next-generation solar module manufacturing unit at Seetarampur.

He directed the District Collector to:

  • Provide housing for families who lost their lands in the village.
  • Construct commercial complexes to ensure sustainable livelihoods for those families.

He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the farmers of Rangareddy district for making the establishment of the solar manufacturing unit possible.

Development Projects Announced

Revanth Reddy announced that:

  • Special funds have already been allocated for the development of the Chevella constituency.
  • A 100-meter-wide road is being constructed from Budwel to Kodangal.
  • He will visit the area again to inaugurate the temple.
