The deceased was identified as Badrinath, a native of Kadapa district who was residing in Musheerabad. He was pursuing B.Tech at Methodist College in Abids.
According to preliminary information, Badrinath was participating in the Ganapati arrival celebrations at Ramnagar Chaurasta when he suddenly collapsed while dancing.

Police rushed him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. However, doctors examined him and confirmed that he had already passed away.
The sudden death of the young student shocked fellow students, friends and others participating in the celebrations.
Police have begun an inquiry into the incident, while the exact cause of Badrinath’s sudden death is yet to be established.
