Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a field-level review of the progress of the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS) and directed officials to accelerate the ongoing works. The Chief Minister inspected a photo exhibition and project plan maps related to the scheme, sought details from officials, and issued several instructions to ensure the speedy completion of the project.

Revanth Reddy Inspects MNKLIS Photo Exhibition and Project Plans
To review the progress of irrigation projects in the undivided Mahabubnagar district, the Chief Minister arrived directly at Makthal in Narayanpet district from Bengaluru on Thursday.
Upon arrival, CM Revanth Reddy first inspected a photo exhibition explaining the ongoing works of the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS). He also examined the project plan maps prepared for the scheme and sought detailed information from officials regarding the status of the works.
The Telangana Chief Minister emphasized that the project works should progress at a faster pace and made several suggestions to officials.
CM Reviews Package-1 Works Near Katrevupalli Village
Revanth Reddy later visited the Package-1 site of the lift irrigation project being executed near Katrevupalli village in Makthal Mandal.
At the site, he reviewed the ongoing works and asked officials about the progress of the pump house construction works being undertaken as part of Package-1.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to commence the concrete works and complete them quickly to avoid delays in the project schedule.

The Chief Minister reviewed project execution at the ground level and directed officials to ensure timely completion of critical components of the MNKLIS project.
