Chief Minister Revanth Reddy continued his field inspection tour for the second consecutive day across key drinking water and irrigation projects in the undivided Mahabubnagar district. The Chief Minister conducted a whirlwind tour of reservoirs and various project packages under the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS) and reviewed the progress of works at multiple locations while issuing directions to officials.

Inspection Begins from Somashila Guest House
On the second day of the tour, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy started from Somashila Guest House and first reached the Ellur Pump House in Kollapur Mandal.
He visited:
- Package-3 Head Regulator under the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme
- Package-2 Narlapur Reservoir
- Package-1 Delivery Cistern
- Lift-1 Pump House under the Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Scheme
After inspecting these facilities, the Chief Minister reviewed the works at the Ellur Pump House.
Ministers and Officials Accompany Chief Minister
The Chief Minister was accompanied by:
- Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy
- Minister Jupally Krishna Rao
- Minister Vakiti Srihari
Public representatives from the undivided Mahabubnagar district and senior officials of the Irrigation Department also participated in the inspection tour.
Review of PRLIS Reservoir and Tunnel Works
From Ellur, the Chief Minister inspected:
- PRLIS Package-3 Head Regulator
- Package-2 Narlapur Reservoir works
He also reviewed project works at the Package-1 Delivery Cistern connected to the Narlapur Reservoir and issued several instructions to officials regarding project execution.
As part of the inspection, Revanth Reddy travelled 1.5 kilometres inside the PRLIS tunnel and reviewed the progress of pump house works. He interacted with officials and sought details regarding the ongoing construction activities.
Inspection of Kummera, Vattem Reservoir and Pump House Works
The Chief Minister later reached Kummera in Bijinapally Mandal and inspected:
- Package-8 Stage-3 Pump House
- Package-9 works related to Vattem Reservoir
- Package-10 works related to Vattem Reservoir
- Package-11 works related to Vattem Reservoir
Officials briefed him on the status of the ongoing works.
Visit to Karivena Reservoir and Uddandapur Reservoir Works
Subsequently, Revanth Reddy travelled by helicopter to Kothur in Bhoothpur Mandal.
There, he inspected:
- Karivena Reservoir Package-14 works
- Karivena Reservoir Package-15 works
The Chief Minister later visited Uddandapur in Jadcherla Mandal, where he reviewed:
- Package-17 works
- Package-18 works
These works fall within the reservoir area under the lift irrigation scheme.
Photo Exhibitions Reviewed During Field Visit
During the field inspections, Irrigation Department officials arranged photo exhibitions related to the projects at various locations.
The Chief Minister examined the exhibits, sought detailed information from officials, and reviewed project-related progress reports.
CM Addresses Media on Palamuru Irrigation and Drinking Water Projects
After inspecting the Karivena Reservoir works at Kothur, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed a media conference and spoke about the Palamuru irrigation and drinking water projects.
The visit focused on assessing the progress of various packages and ensuring the timely completion of works under the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme and associated water infrastructure projects.
