CM Revanth Reddy Directs Fast-Track Completion of Irrigation Projects in United Mahabubnagar, Prioritises Land Acquisition

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to take all necessary steps to ensure the early completion of all major irrigation projects in the united Mahabubnagar district. The Chief Minister issued the instructions after conducting field-level inspections of various ongoing irrigation projects and reviewing their progress with officials.

During the review meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that accelerating irrigation infrastructure development is crucial for the region and instructed officials to remove bottlenecks delaying project execution.

Land Acquisition Must Be Given Top Priority

Revanth Reddy stated that land acquisition should be treated as the first priority in completing irrigation projects at the earliest.

He noted that project works cannot move forward effectively without the completion of land acquisition processes.

The Chief Minister instructed the collectors of the concerned districts to coordinate closely with local MLCs and MLAs to expedite land acquisition activities and resolve pending issues.

District Collectors Asked to Conduct Field Reviews

The Chief Minister directed district collectors to regularly tour project areas, assess ground-level conditions, and personally monitor the land acquisition process.

He stressed that field-level supervision would help speed up project implementation and address local issues promptly.

Government Ready to Release Funds for Land Acquisition

Revanth Reddy clarified that the Telangana Government is prepared to sanction the required funds for land acquisition whenever necessary.

He assured officials that financial support would be provided on a continuous basis to ensure that land acquisition does not become an obstacle to project completion.
