Daughter of Ex Union Minister Arrested by Maha Police at Shamshabad Airport

Hyderabad: Kavuri Srivani, daughter of senior Congress leader and former Union minister Kavuri Sambashivarao, has been detained by the Maharashtra Police.

The police arrested Srivani at Shamshabad International Airport and a cheating case has been registered against her in Maharashtra.

A Lookout Circular (LoC) had been issued by the Maharashtra Police against her as part of a cheating case. Kavuri Srivani arrived at Shamshabad Airport on Thursday night to go to Dubai.

The airport officials immediately informed the Maharashtra Police, who reached the Shamshabad airport and detained her.

The police will take Srivani to Maharashtra on a PT warrant after producing her in the Rajendranagar court.
