Hyderabad: The return journey of Hajj 2026 pilgrims began on Friday as the first flight carrying pilgrims from Saudi Arabia landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, early in the morning. According to officials, the first Hajj flight arrived in Hyderabad at around 6 a.m. Special arrangements had been made by the Telangana State Haj Committee to ensure a smooth arrival process for the pilgrims and their families.
Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Biabani, popularly known as Khusro Pasha, personally welcomed the returning pilgrims. Executive Officer Mohammed Asadullah, Haj Committee members, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Telangana Minister for Minority Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin, AIMIM MLC Rahmat Baig, Haj Committee members, and several dignitaries greeted the pilgrims and congratulated them on the successful completion of their sacred journey.
