The counselling programme was organised for cell phone offenders involved in cases registered within the jurisdiction of Hyderabad City.

The event was held at the City Training Centre (CTC), Petlaburj, and was organised and presided over by Sri M. Srinivas, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes & SIT, Hyderabad City.

During the counselling session, the participants were advised to refrain from:

• Mobile phone thefts
• Other property offences

They were encouraged to:

• Reform their behaviour

• Earn a livelihood through legitimate means instead of committing crimes for easy money

Officials strongly emphasised the importance of leading a disciplined, dignified, and crime-free life.

Police officials cautioned the participants about the serious legal consequences of habitual offending.

They stated that while Hyderabad City Police would continue taking stringent legal action against repeat property offenders, genuine opportunities for:
