Six Students of NIT Jamshedpur Secure Rs 83 Lakh Annual Packages

During the ongoing placement season for 2023-24, NIT-Jamshedpur has achieved notable success, with six BTech students securing impressive annual packages of Rs 83 lakh each.

Atlassian, a multinational IT company headquartered in Australia, made these offers to three Computer Science and three Electrical Engineering students.

AK Choudhary, the professor in charge of training and placement at NIT Jamshedpur, highlighted that the highest annual package of 83 lakhs was received by six students this year.

Noteworthy recipients include Adarsh Kashyap, Tanya Singh, Arpit Kumar, Shubham Kumar, and Rahul Pandey from the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering branches.

This marks a significant increase from the previous year, where only one student had secured a Rs 83 lakh package.

Admission to the institute is based solely on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
