The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) recently made an important decision to appoint guest faculty for government Intermediate colleges across all districts. The recruitment process for these temporary positions will conclude on July 28, and the selected faculty members are required to join their respective government junior colleges by August 1.
In a meeting held on Tuesday, the BIE issued guidelines for the hiring of guest faculty on an hourly basis for the current academic year. To ensure a fair selection process, a committee comprising district college representatives and the principal of each government junior college will oversee the hiring procedure. The selection will be based on factors such as the number of students enrolled in various colleges and the existing teacher strength.
The appointed guest faculty members will serve until March 2024, and their contract will not be extended to the subsequent academic year. This move aims to strengthen the education system and enhance the learning experience for Intermediate students across the state.
