The body was discovered while HYDRA DRF and Monsoon Response Teams were removing accumulated silt and garbage using a JCB. Alwal Police were informed immediately, took custody of the body, and launched an investigation. According to preliminary information, police suspect the body is around 15 days old.

Unknown Body Found During HYDRAA Drain Desilting Operation
Officials said that during drain desilting works, it is common to find mattresses, pillows, bedsheets, and large quantities of plastic waste in stormwater drains. However, during the desilting operation on Wednesday, the teams made a shocking discovery when an unknown body emerged from the drain.
The incident occurred at the Mothukula Kunta outlet drain in Machabollaram, under Alwal Mandal in Medchal–Malkajgiri district.
HYDRAA DRF and Monsoon Response Teams Remove Garbage Using JCB
The HYDRAA DRF and Monsoon Response Teams were jointly carrying out desilting work when a JCB was used to remove a large quantity of accumulated garbage from the outlet drain.
As the garbage was being cleared, the unknown body came out along with the waste.
Officials said the body was in a highly decomposed condition. The body had deteriorated to such an extent that identification was not possible, with only bones and attached body tissue remaining.
Alwal Police Take Custody of the Body
After the body was found, HYDRAA personnel informed Alwal Police. Police reached the spot, took custody of the body, and began further investigation.
According to preliminary information, police suspect that the body is approximately 15 days old. The investigation is currently ongoing to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
