Harish Rao visits Mallanna Sagar
The state government completed the famous Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project in record time of three years, he claimed.
Hyderabad: Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that Mallanna Sagar in Thoguta area of Siddipet district was completed. He visited the site with local leaders and officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister expressed happiness that the project was completed as planned. The Finance Minister said that with vision and commitment by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao the KLIS was completed.
The state government completed the famous Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project in record time of three years, he claimed.
With that project Mallanna Sagar project got full waters to boost agriculture, the minister said. Harish Rao said that Mallanna Sagar got 11tmc water at 30 mt altitude and sufficient for farming activities.
While the bund stretches at 25 km, the water reaches to 20 km, the minister said. We have completed this project on a war-footing, he explained.
