TJS forms alliance with Cong to defeat BRS

Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) President, Prof. Kodandaram on Monday announced an alliance with the Congress party with the goal of unseating the BRS government.

Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) President, Prof. Kodandaram on Monday announced an alliance with the Congress party with the goal of unseating the BRS government.

However, TJS has opted not to field candidates in the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for November 30.

This decision was reached during a meeting at the TJS office in Nampally, where TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy and party incharge Manikrao Thkre met with Prof. Kodandaram today.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Revanth Reddy explained that the Congress sought the support of TJS to challenge Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and liberate Telangana from what they perceive as his influence. Both parties plan to collaborate further by establishing a coordination committee and intend to work together in the electoral arena.

Revanth Reddy also revealed that TJS is expected to play a significant role in the potential Congress government. He disclosed that Kodandaram has made a commitment to support their shared objectives until they are accomplished.

He underscored the importance of removing what he referred to as a dictator and establishing a government that truly represents the people.

The TPCC President alleged that their phones have been tapped and that hackers have been eavesdropping on their private conversations. He further claimed that KTR and KCR were attempting to exert influence over the Congress. Revanth Reddy warned that there would be consequences for such actions.
