Girl Injured in Acid Attack in J&K’s Shopian

Srinagar: A girl was injured in an acid attack on Tuesday in J&K’s Shopian district, police said.

Police sources said a girl in Kral Check village of Shopian was attacked with acid by unknown persons in the afternoon.

“The girl suffered injuries on her left shoulder and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where from she has been referred to Srinagar,” a source said.

Police reached the spot and an FIR has been registered in the crime.
