Hyderabad: Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik who has been remanded to Enforcement Directorate custody has been admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. He had complained of stomach pain.
Malik was remanded to ED custody till March 3. ED arrested Malik on Wednesday for investigating charges against him.
Based on the claims of former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Malik is facing a charge of purchasing a property at a rate lower than market value from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s men.
However, NCP chief Sharad Pawar claimed that Malik is being troubled because he spoke against the Union government.
