In a sweeping crackdown against illegal encroachments, the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Authority (HYDRA) has reclaimed 43 acres of land belonging to lakes, ponds, and other public water bodies from VIPs, politicians, and real estate developers.
